love thursday: happiness

. . . . well, at least I was very happy to see this sight:

I’d come home from work and was setting my things down, pulling things out of the refrigerator, talking to roomie when suddenly, I realized the cats were sitting TOGETHER, as in “next to each other.” Voluntarily. Both gazing out into the garden. Cute as can be.

I wish the moment would last longer than the five minutes it did. But five minutes is FIVE MINUTES!

And thank you to Tracy (PinkPurl) for the Cool Cat Award! Since I have two, does that mean I get the award twice? Just kiddin’.

  2. Flighty, they love watching birds and calling to them, though this time I didn’t hear any bird calls. Just quiet companionable gazing. Good enough!

  7. I think you should rig a “Kitty Kam” to see what goes on when you’re not home. I have a real strong feeling that they are very good buddies and more attached to each other than you think. :-)

    They seem very content sitting side by side in this picture.

  12. Like little ducks all in a row. Disagree with Marilyn over the kitty cam - I doubt cats care enough to alter their behaviour when the humans are around.
    A case of the cats are there and the mice still play?

  17. Thanks, friends, for visiting and encouraging my cats to get along :-) They still toussle, but no major injuries. Marilyn, I’m afraid there is A LOT of chasing and boxing and batting going on with or without my presence! They will do it all night long if I don’t separate them (which I do, so we can all get some SLEEP!).
