little update

A little teaser image from a two-part series coming up Friday.
For all of you asking about how Emmaline and Minou are doing with their colds, here’s what roomie emailed me this morning:
E has finally calmed down. Stopped opening wine cabinet, stopped kicking button down hall, stopped carrying around branch of green she took from floral arrangement, stopped kicking up carpets, stopped jumping on the blue chair, stopped jumping on the green desk, stopped chewing on the tablecloth, stopped playing in the shoes in the closet, stopped racing through the curtains, etc. Now sleeping in donut. M has stopped chasing her and eating rose petals. Just got him in from sneaking out to the patio, peeled E from getting stuck between the glass and screen doors….
Yes, they’re back to their crazy selves. Here they are in their, “What?” pose.

Who us? Their expression is priceless! I’m glad to hear both are well again, and which is one thing less for for you to worry about. xx
Who us? What priceless expressions! I’m glad to hear that they are both okay now. xx
.
By the way this is at least the second time that I’ve commented as the earlier one(s) haven’t appeared. By chance they didn’t get treated as spam did they?
Could have been an allergy? Lovely kitties… It looks like they are made for each other.
Don’t you need one of these 5 orphans to keep E & M on their toes???? HUH?????
(please…begging here…
teehee!
XOXO
Aaaaah! Sis, you’re trying to kill me!
.
Mary, it would be interesting to know what they’d be allergic to. Vet thinks it’s one of the flu viruses. Each of them had a day or two with an elevated temperature and lethargy (Em sat on her blanket for hours on end).
Glad they are feeling better. Love the ‘What’ look. Great photo.
Emmaline and Minou both look the picture of health now - back to their busy kitten lives. They certainly can pack a lot of activity into a short period of time! This was good news.
Kate, yes, they are doing better - just a stray sneeze here and there. Appetites are back, activity level definitely back!
.
Dawn, they’re good at that innocent look. They practice constantly!
What a great picture of the twins, I do love ‘em so, whatever crazy antics they may get up to! Butter wouldn’t melt, comes to mind! x
Oooh wook at their pretty little moufs! xoxo
Cat sneezes are the most disgusting thing ever. My cat Lizzie gets flu several times a year and I end up having to wipe her nose for her.
When she’s feeling sorry for herself she just skulks round the house yowling at the top of her voice - it actually sounds like she’s saying “Woe! Woe is me!”.
Glad they’re feeling better! They are gorgeous.
Flighty, sorry about your comments being trapped in the spam trap! I see you quite recognize that look on the cats’ faces
.
Louise, it is hard to do anything but laugh at their antics. Emmaline seems to be making up for the day or so of her cold when she sat quietly for hours.
.
Liv, they are sweet, aren’t they? You should hear them “talk” - they squeak!
.
SU Mum - I know what you mean about messy sneezes. Minou also had a lot of tearing so his whole face was wet, poor boy. Yes, “Woe is me!” is what he’s crying!
