on the cat front
I wasn’t going to post about the cats for a while - just haven’t taken any photos that really capture the cat frenzy going on in the house. But an update from roomie forced my hand. Picture this - and it all happened before noon today.
E in the laundry, behind the dryer, in the kitchen cupboards, in the bathroom cupboards, in the closet, on the bed, from old computer desk to window sill, yellow room window sill, kitchen window sill, studio window sill, behind me on computer chair, carrying pillow, throwing pillow left, throwing pillow right, throwing pillow again, and again, and again, and rolling over it, flipping it like a pancake, digging in the laundry, running laps, watching meter reader, clacking at birds, considering jumping into paper trash.
M is sleeping.

Emmaline squeezes herself into a (mostly) empty drawer and pauses long enough to mug for a photo before scampering away to check off her to-do list.

I’m exhausted trying to keep up! That is one lovely picture! xx
Hey, Flighty, your comment came through without any akismet shennanigans! Yes, she’s a cutie. It’s hard to get ANYTHING done when she’s around being cute!
So I noticed! I did get an email back from Akismet apologising and saying that it had been sorted.
It’s definitely that look of hers, one of cuteness personified! xx
I just LOVE that cat. I hope one of my kittens has that same personality.
XOXO
Sis, are you going to keep your little itty bitty ones? I need to see more pics of them! And I apologize for the loooooooooong delay, but I finally got your box in the mail, so be lookin’ for it
.
Flighty, I can tell you that “cute” is a word we use entirely TOO MUCH around my house - but we can’t help it!
lol! She has that kittycrazy look on her face!
As cute as that cat is, she also has a very knowing look. Although she may appear to be running around haphazardly, there’s more going on than meets the eye…
That’s my thought anyway when looking at that face! LOL
I don’t think we can keep all 5 but it’s sure tempting!
I’m excited about the box…thank you so much!!!
XOXO
I think it’s cute how roomie sends you updates whenever she sees anything to report!
I never noticed the lovely mint green of Em’s eyes before.
Fiwa, I think you have coined a phrase: kittycraze
.
Glo, you’re probably right. Em has an extensive things-to-do-before-leaving-kittenhood.
.
Sis, it’s hard not to want another cat - I don’t know how you’re going to give up one of those darlings!
.
Liv, the kittycraze really started after Em’s cold. I think she’s making up for lost time.
What a sugar kitty!!! Sweet pic!
Please keep posting pics of your little Em ‘n Ms. They brighten up my day. x
Very cute photo. Eloise seems to get a lot more done in a day. Howard will be laying on my bed in the morning when I leave, still there at noon, and when I come back at 4:00 still in the same place. Of course Howard is the one that keeps me up at night if in the house, asking to be let out, and if he is out, will sneak in should I open the door to tell the dog to be quiet. We try to make sure he is out at night. Maybe it just the girl cats have more of a mission during the day.
Dawn, I had to smile when you described your boy and girl cats much like mine. I guess our female cats have so much more ambition!
.
Louise, I’ll do my best. The cats certainly are willing
.
Julie, she gets kissed A LOT!
LOL not going to post about the kittycats? Really? They are too cute for words so how could you possibly NOT post about them? I have a hard time resisting to post about the Bliss team every time I blog.
i bet that was hard to try not to take photos of those scamps.
i love this photo, anne.
Yolanda, I’m totally with you! Cat post coming up soon.
.
Hey Dawn Wonderwoman, are you packed yet?
