caught

Since it may take a while before I get my travel photos organized, I thought you all might keep entertained with cat antics. Enjoy :-)

Minou: I don’t know if you noticed, but all that standing on your hind legs frantically pounding the glass panes with your front paws has opened up a tiny crevice riiiiight here. See it?

Emmaline: Oooh, I see it!

Minou: Doesn’t look like you need any help. I think I’ll go sit on that chair over there and look innocent.

Emmaline: Maybe if I’m on my side……

Emmaline: Um, maybe two paws…..

Editor’s note: at this point, the would-be escapee’s attempt had been well documented and the images placed in her personnel file. Her accomplice got off with a light sentence (a light dusting of kisses instead of a smothering).

  1. HHAHAHAHA, now that’s cute. Sneaking little beggers they are!

  2. I know it’s only been just over a week but I have missed their antics! I love the expression in the first picture. xx

  3. The little scamps. I love them. *Punish* them for me too, please!

  4. I think these 2 kids work very well together, and that first picture is hilarious! That’s a very “Oops, I’ve been busted” look.

  5. Ha! Marvelous escape artists they are…

  6. I love this. When I was a little girl, we caught a similar sequence of photos of a cat that kept getting back in the house after being left out. She was climbing a ladder to the second floor and coming in an open bathroom window–going so far as to push it up with her paws after my mother lowered it to about an inch. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

  7. Oh…welcome back home! We all missed you, you can bet! Beautiful Eiffel Tower pic at night, and kitties are as usual…perfect!

  8. I hope they don’t grow up too fast and lose interest in the simple pleasures of life.

  9. I love these…I’VE MISSED YOU!!!

And so because I’ve missed you so much, I tagged you! lol - go check out my 05/07 blogpost…
    XOXO
Sis (who is SO GLAD you’re home!)

  10. What a pair they make! A lot of kisses to both of them.

  11. Priceless pictures and a very enjoyable serious ~ Emmaline’s eye peeking out in that second photo is a hoot! Great coverage of the escapade ~ I don’t know how you keep the camera from wiggling, I’d be chuckling away!

  12. Oh, how I missed these fuzzy faces and their crazy running around. It was great to see them and interact with them again. My uncle used to have two cats, Tigron and his mother Grenadine. They’re both gone now and my uncle’s chosen not to keep anymore cats.

  13. Hahahaha…. As I type this one of mine is going crazy trying to get rubs. Excuse the spelling errors :).

That is a great sequence of picutres. Tooo cute and troublesome together.

  14. Silly kitties! They are so pretty, as always. :) When I was at my son’s house today his girlfriend’s cat kept kissing my nose. Crazy cat!

  15. So funny! Mine would never attempt to get out they just demand that someone opens the door and that’s despite the fact that I keep a window open all the time for them. It was once their fav means of entry and when I say all the time and do mean all the time, come rain, wind, hail, snow……

  16. I really like the Eureka look on Minou’s face in the second photo :)

  17. I’ve missed your kitty pix. So glad you posted some!! They both have so much character and personality!!

  18. They want to go out and play with yard cat! x

  19. Very cute. I know Eloise will open the screen if it is ajar, but the door is just too heavy. Wonderful photos.
