fff feb 24

Flowering cherry at Roger’s Gardens in Corona del Mar.
The fives are simple this week, but still brought a lot of joy.
1. Roomie had a terrific first meeting with a new client with a gigantic list of projects.
2. I had a delightful day off wandering and wondering and planning.
3. The final load of stuff was taken to Goodwill. I love de-cluttering.
4. Finding that perfect gift for my mom’s birthday.
5. Freesias getting ready to bloom. So much anticipation.
Hope your weekend is full of good things.
….and just for fun, try this which gives you a sense of scale of things in the world.
A short and sweet fff. Enjoy your weekend, I’m hoping to empty my compost heap which is certainly full of good things! xx
Oh, I LOVE Rogers Garden! I too could wander there for hours, and hopefully not purchase anything
And I love de-cluttering too. It seems like there is always something that needs to be ‘repurposed’ in someone else’s house.
Happy Birthday to your mom! I’m so glad she is feeling better these days.
Loved your wanderings post and how you described it as a live Pinterest day.:) . Wonderful way to spend the day!
Someday I hope to furnish my home with pieces that fit my environment and current lifestyle. In the meantime I will dream and be grateful for what I have.
Decluttering is one of my main goals this year. There is something very satisfying about weeding out what’s not needed any more and seeing the space g-r-o-w. Congrats on your decluttering endeavours.
Also congrats to roomies new client. That must feel very satisfying for her. What dies she do?
Have a great week,
I enjoyed looking at the pictures you took during your “wandering.” They’re so beautiful.
.
I need to declutter but first, I need to find time
Finding a perfect gift for a loved one is awesome! Happy Birthday to your Mom!
I love decluttering and have been doing a lot of that myself! And I can’t wait until we have flowers blooming again. It will be a while though. We still have snow on the ground.
LOTS of happy here this week, Anne! I literally gasped with delight when the image of those cherry blooms came up! And freesias soon to come…mmm… I love de-cluttering too. I’m looking forward to a big spring clean and clear out next month. ;o) Happy weekend ((HUGS))
That for Roomie’s good meeting and new projects!
I’ve been sorting through stuff to donate this week as well. It feels so good to declutter.
Your day off sounds nice, and what a boon to find a perfect gift.
We’re seeing our first spring blossoms this week — one of my favorite occurrences of the year!
Great pictures
I love decluttering, too. I enjoyed looking at the link you provided on the scale of the universe. To think God created such vast space, yet numbers the hairs on our head (so small in scale!) is amazing!
I love the feeling of a good declutter!
such gorgeous picture of the flowers. Congrats on the new client to Roomie!
Finding a good gift is so hard to do, that’s great! And decluttering is always welcome.
Love those flowers! Are things blooming early in SoCal? They sure are up here in NorCal!
Short, but definitely sweet. I’m glad it was a good week. I have filled up several more bags for Goodwill. My boys are growing like weeds, and I realized I had some clothes for over 20 years! eek! (no wonder my closet felt so crowded!)
I’m looking forward to green, pretty things and flowers in a month or two.
Congratulations to your roommate!
Yay for decluttering. I took some items to the thrift store this week, too. Your list is simple, but still special.
I love how those blooms fade into the sky light.
XOXO
I particularly admire your point #3. Seems like an impossible task here at my home… de-cluttering.
I have just begun my de-cluttering. Going to be a long haul.
